Plexr Plus is a very safe, minimally invasive, and effective type of treatment that utilizes plasma technology. Plasma is the fourth state of matter, made up of ionized particles which are charged.  

Plexr Plus uses the ionization of gases in the air to form plasma, creating a small electrical arc, which, when applied near the skin, sublimates the surface of the skin (turning the surface into gas). This plasma beam generates heat and causes sublimation of the outermost part of the epidermis (outer layer of the skin), without damage to the surrounding or deeper structure of the skin. This allows an immediate contraction/tightening and reorganization of the collagen fibers. It also stimulates skin fibroblast cells in the deeper skin dermis, which leads to the formation of new collagen and a renewal of the epidermal tissue.

Plexr Treatment Options

Plexr Ablative

   This treatment focuses on deeper skin layers by intensively treating severe wrinkles and sagging skin. It stimulates collagen production for significant improvements in skin tightness and elasticity.

Plexr Cat Scratch

   This method gently targets fine lines and superficial skin imperfections, mimicking a cat's scratch.  It's optimal for sensitive areas, improving skin texture and reducing fine lines with minimal downtime.

Plexr Shower

  This technique uses controlled micro-injuries to stimulate collagen and elastin production.  It targets active acne, acne scars, enlarged pores, and enhances overall skin texture, leading to smoother, rejuvenated skin.

What to Expect When Undergoing Plexr Plus Treatments

On the day of treatment, topical freezing cream will be applied to the treatment area. After the appropriate freezing time, the area is cleansed. Your Plexr Plus practitioner will then use the Plexr Plus device, working in a small grid to create a retraction of the skin in the treatment area. This creates fine grey-brown scales, called “carbon dust”, which disappear a few days after each session. Immediate contraction will be visible.

The full appointment takes around one hour to ninety minutes and depends and the areas of treatment.

Please note that there is a significant period of “social downtime” after Plexr Plus treatments. Your healing skin will be quite unsightly, scabby, and swollen for up to 2 weeks. Plexr Plus is NOT a no-downtime procedure.  Be sure to plan your work and social engagements accordingly. One can safely plan to hunker down at home for a week or more.
